A weeks worth of posts!

Monday, October 19
Humanities 8
We practiced using latitude and longitude by playing Battleship. It was loads of fun and hopefully everyone is getting the hang of it. No homework.

We talked about the Potlatch today and watched a video about it. We also reviewed for the Chapter 3 quiz.

Tuesday, October 20
Humanities 8
We had a little quiz today on the Cartography Rules. Overall, very well done! We also did a latitude and longitude activity for marks. If it wasn't finished for class, it was for homework and to be handed in on Wednesday.

FNS12
We had a chapter 3 quiz. We then started chapter 14, and the beginning of the "Cultural Expression" unit.

Wednesday, October 21
Humanities 8
We played Geo-Pictionary, using geographic terms. It was great fun and highly competitive! No homework today.

FNS12
We read the beginning of chapter 14 and did notes on the first 3 boxes.

Thursday, October 22
Humanities 8
We looked at contour lines today using plasticine on the overhead projector. We also prepared for GYMBLAST on Monday.

FNS12
We read trickster and transformer stories written (mostly) by Aboriginal authors and illustrators. Chapter 14 notes must be done for Monday.
