Welcome Back!

Hi there! I hope you all had a wonderful summer full of fun, adventure and relaxation time. My summer was incredible, as you will hear throughout the year. I spent the most amazing 2 weeks in Belgium and France on a Canadian Battlefields Tour for teachers. I learned about The Great War and the Second World War by walking on the battlefields, visiting cemeteries and doing Tactical Exercises Without Troops (TEWT). It was a life changing trip for me and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you this year.

The rest of the summer was spent gardening, painting my house, visiting with my friend and relaxing. It was great! Now I'm recharged and refreshed and looking forward to meeting all of you in the first week of September. See you in Portable #2, The Kingdom of Fun!
