Humanities 8
Today we worked in the lab on our research. I conferenced one-on-one with almost half the students to see where our progress is. Many have made great progress, some are struggling, we need to work REALLY hard the next 2.5 weeks to make this happen in a fantastic way!

Ideas for searching for information:
  • find out which battalion or squadron your soldier fought with, this will result in tonnes of information about the battles they fought, where they fought, crests they had, etc
  • find out what kind of transportation they used, ship, tank, airplane: research that and get some pictures for your display

I was thrilled to see some of the research that some students were able to do!!! Again, your best bet will be to go to the Courtenay Museum to look at the Lest We Forget book, bring your camera and some money for photocopying.
