Ryan: Check out the SS Empress of Britain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Empress_of_Britain_(1906) I need a date of death to help with your research

Zac: your guy was probably with the Nova Scotia Highlanders. Here's the crest of the 193 rd battalion http://regimentalrogue.com/battlehonours/infimages/193bn.jpg Your soldier might have been involved with at attack/operation at Mount Sorrel when he arrived in France, the dates are about right....research that to see if it fits.

Lucas: Here's info on your guy http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=2068608 the cemetery where he's buried http://www.cwgc.org/search/certificate.aspx?casualty=2068608 and http://www.cwgc.org/search/cemetery_details.aspx?cemetery=2005500&mode=1
